Catch their eye
It may sound obvious, but the number one thing to consider in the design of an exhibition stand is the visual impact it will have. A few posters and a trestle table will not achieve anybody’s exhibition goals.
Invest in flooring so that guests are stepping into your area, use lighting effectively to brighten your space, and use eye-catching colours to make you stand out from the crowd.
Tweak their senses
A successful exhibition stand must appeal to all of the senses. Use minimal furniture to open up your area and make it welcoming for guests, play some mood music, and remember that some drinks and sweets will never go astray. And don’t forget the little touches, some incense burning here and a cozy cushion or two there will make a world of difference!
Capture their curiosity
Nothing will guarantee return on investment on your stand more than good quality staff. Hold a training session on the day prior to the trade show, provide a uniform so that they stand out at all times and make sure they know your product inside out. Only choose staff that are outgoing, confident and energetic - no matter what their position in the company.
Get their attention
Delegates have seen it all, so do something different! To really make in impact and leave a lasting impression you will need to think outside the box. Why not hire actors or singers to invite guests onto the stand, hand out quirky gifts or use cutting-edge technology. The possibilities are endless and the rewards are limitless.
