Smells like team spirit!
Competitive spirit and Australian pride was alive and well on Anzac Day when Allianz Australia invited their key clients to a day of extreme challenge, excitement and fun in Alice Springs.
JH Events was appointed to create a corporate hospitality day like no other, and we didn’t disappoint.
The key objectives for this Allianz event were to:
- Position this incentive event as a highly sought after and not-to-be-missed occasion within the insurance industry.
- Thank major clients and stakeholders for their continued support of the company.
- Develop and build relationships with key business partners
- Provide a unique, action-packed and unforgettable experience for all participants.
After sleeping under the stars at a traditional outback cattle station, guests awoke in their swags to attend an emotional Anzac service at dawn.. Then it was 2-Up over breakfast, whilst teams got ready for their much anticipated competitive challenge for the coveted title of Allianz Muster Championships 2008.
Competitors completed a satellite navigated orienteering course on quad bikes, tested their aim at rifle shooting, staggered up mountains on a treasure hunt, followed orders through an obstacle course with an ex-American army officer and directed helicopters through the rugged landscape. And just when they thought it was all over at the beer tasting challenge, the final round commenced consisting of team runs, tug-of-war and strength tests.
The Allianz Muster 2008 incentive event achieved outstanding results for Allianz. Client engagement was at an all time high as an unanimous declaration of the 2008 Muster being the best yet! Solid relationships with customers once again prove to be the foundations to a highly profitable business.
